Kappasphere Photo Contest Rules
Contest Parameters and Timeline- Photograph subject matter must include one or all of the following: a Pontiac Solstice, A Pontiac GXP, a Saturn Sky, or a Saturn Sky Redline*.
- Photos will be judged on adherence to subject matter requirements, photo quality, and overall impression.
- Winners will receive a prize valued between $20 and $50.
- Entries are due the last Monday of every month. Due dates are as follows:

- 11/26/07
- 12/24/07
- One winning photo will be announced within 10 business days after the due dates.
- You may submit no more than 1 entry a month.
- You may not win two months in a row.
Submitting a Photo - LARGE DIGITAL IMAGES (GREATER THAN 9MB IN FILE SIZE):
- High resolution - 300 dpi.
- Files larger than 9MB will jam the in-box. DO NOT E-MAIL images larger than 9MB in size
- Large files must be put on a disc and mailed in:

- High resolution - 300 dpi

- PRINTED, NON-DIGITAL IMAGES
- Must be no larger than 8.5" x 11"

By submitting an entry you agree to the following terms: - You are entering this contest at your own risk. You must agree that, regardless of the outcome, you will not challenge the results of the Kappasphere Photography Contest (the "Contest") or file any claims or suits against the Kappasphere, the Sector111 LLC, their affiliates, directors, officers, or employees, arising from the conduct of the Contest. You agree that Kappasphere need not return to you any images you submit and that Kappasphere may, in its sole discretion, terminate this contest without any liability to you. If Kappasphere terminates the Contest before its completion, Kappasphere agrees that it will not use your images for any purpose.
- You agree that the images you submit may be used by Kappasphere in a printed publication, on a Web site, in a promotional e-mail, or in any other media, and may be copied and displayed in any country, provided that you are afforded appropriate attribution to you as the photographer. You may not revoke this permission to allow Kappasphere to use your images. Although you are agreeing to allow Kappasphere to use your images, you remain the owner of your images and may also use them in any manner you choose.
- You promise that you are at least 18 years of age, you are not part of the operational team of Kappasphere or an immediate family member of such a person.
- You promise that the photographs you submit (a) are your own work; (b) do not (to your knowledge) infringe on the rights of any other person or business; (c) have not been previously published.
NOTE: It is illegal to publish a photo of a private individual who has not explicitly given permission to do so. Please take photos responsibly. If there are individuals in your photo other than yourself, please make sure you have permission to submit the photo. You may use this Model Release Form for your model, and keep it for your own records.
- You promise that persons depicted in the photographs (except outdoor crowd scenes) have given you permission for the use of their image in your photograph. We ask for this promise because we want you to be respectful of the persons you photograph and considerate of their sensitivities concerning the use of their image in your photograph.
- You promise that your photograph accurately reflects the subject matter and scene as it appeared, and that it has not been digitally altered beyond standard optimization (removal of dust, cropping, adjustments to color and contrast, etc).
- You agree that Kappasphere does not need to pay you for your images, whether you win a prize or not.
*Pontiac Solstice, Pontiac GXP, Saturn Sky, and a Saturn Sky Redline are all registered trademarks with GM. GM is in no way affiliated with Kappasphere or the Contest. GM does not offer sponsorship and will in no way affect the results or structure of the Contest.
**Solsticeforum.com and skyroadster.com and their sponsors are in no way conducting, or sponsoring the Contest. They will not affect the results or structure of the Contest.
